Rob Cantor is an American musician, singer, songwriter and actor, born on August 26, 1983. He is known for being the lead vocalist and guitarist of the indie rock band Tally Hall, and for his solo music career. Rob Cantor started his musical career in the early 2000s with Tally Hall in Ann Arbor, Michigan. In 2014, Cantor released a viral music video titled "Shia LaBeouf" on YouTube, which became an internet phenomenon. The video was the subject of a TED Talk and has amassed over 64 million views. Cantor has also contributed to music for films and television, including Disney's animated series Phineas and Ferb and the film The Last Five Years. He has released two albums as a solo artist, "Not a Trampoline" in 2014 and "Melanie's Sippy Cup" in 2019.
